Dr. Deif
Dr. Deif graduated from Cairo University in 1984 and practiced dentistry in Egypt until she moved to Canada with her family in 2005. She lived in Nova Scotia for the first couple of years and has been working in the Greater Toronto Area ever since.
She provides comprehensive dental services including endodontics (root canal), oral surgery, implants, oral sedation and invisalign. She is committed to delivering the high quality of service that our patients have come to expect and appreciate.
Dr. Deif has been happily married for 31 years. She has 2 daughters and 2 beautiful grandchildren. In her spare time, she is passionate about cooking, enjoys crafts and designing.
She looks forward to serving the patients of Chase Dental Group. She is fluent in Arabic, English and French.
Dr. Tamina Chow
Dr. Tamina Chow graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto in 1995. After graduating from dentistry, Dr. Chow moved to Vancouver where she practiced dentistry for several years. In 2004, Dr. Chow moved back to Ontario in order to be closer to her family. We're glad she did!
Calm, warmhearted, compassionate. Dr. Chow is characterized by these attributes which serve her well in a field fraught with angst and fear. In fact, her gentle and caring approach has allowed her to develop many loyal and happy patients here at Chase Dental.
Dr. Chow explains her objectives: "I believe I am in a partnership with my patients to help them obtain and maintain a lifetime of superior oral health. To achieve this, I try to develop a trusting personal relationship with each patient I serve."
She enjoys all facets of patient care. "Whether it is enhancing a smile, seeing a child for their first visit, or relieving discomfort or fear, I enjoy meeting the individual needs of my patients."
Growing up, Dr. Chow studied ballet and was very active in a sport called 'netball'. Today, outside of her professional life, Dr. Chow enjoys swimming and playing badminton.
Dr. Chow is fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin.
Dr. Zaki
Dr. Zaki completed his Bachelor In “oral and dental medicine and surgery” in (2001). For Dr. Zaki, dentistry is not only a job but it’s a passion.
His dedication to patient care shines through in his thoroughness in dental work and he hopes to encourage healthy smiles to all his patients.
For the past 19 years Dr. Zaki has been working as a general dentist performing various procedures including but not limited to restorative, prosthetic, surgical and endodontic procedures .
He is a proud father of two boys. When he is not at the front line fighting cavities and fixing teeth, he likes to spend time with them playing basketball and biking.
Dr. Hu
Dr. Thomas Hu graduated from University of Toronto with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2017 and has been serving the GTA area since then. Before that, Dr. Hu had obtained his first dental degree in 1998 and a Master’s degree in Prosthodontics in 2001 from School of Stomatology, Peking University. Dr. Hu has been practicing in Dentistry for over 20 years and is dedicated to providing the best care to his patients.
Dr. Mirna Deif
Dr. Mirna Deif completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto in 2021.
She enjoys dental work and looks forward to building strong connections with patients of all ages to help them achieve their dental goals. She strives to improve patients’ dental health as well as aid them in being confident in their smiles.
In her spare time, Dr. Deif likes to read, go for long walks and explore her passion for photography.
